Honours with the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences

An Honours year is an additional full-time year of specialised academic study. It allows you to further enrich your degree by delving deeper into academic areas of interest.  An Honours year includes a thesis; an original piece of research in your area of special interest.

An Honours year is usually one additional year of full-time study, following on from your undergraduate degree. In certain circumstances, an Honours year can be taken part-time.
