Honours
with the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences
An Honours year is an additional full-time year of specialised academic
study. It allows you to further enrich your degree by delving deeper into
academic areas of interest. An Honours year includes a thesis; an
original piece of research in your area of special interest.
An Honours year is usually one additional year of full-time study, following
on from your undergraduate degree. In certain circumstances, an Honours year
can be taken part-time.
