Membership categories and fees

All memberships are per individual member. Membership runs for 12 months from date of joining.
Fees include 10% GST. Ask at any campus library for conditions of membership.

  • Swinburne Alumni
    Former Swinburne students and staff may subscribe through the Alumni Association. Proof of affiliation is required, e.g. expired ID card, award certificate, statement of results, or verification provided by the Alumni Office database. Annual fee: $110.
  • Community / Individual
    Individual membership is open to persons with no previous affiliation to Swinburne. Companies may sponsor individual memberships for nominated company personnel. Annual fee: $330.
  • Professional Groups / Associations
    Membership for professional associations and special interest groups may be arranged by negotiation. Contact the Manager, Liaison

Research Consultants

Research consultancies are available to members and to the general public, for a fee available on application.

Consultancies can be organised in person, or by phone, fax or email. Interstate queries are welcome. Contact the Manager, Liaison, who will ensure that your information needs are handled by the appropriate specialist librarians.

Consultancies typically include searches of electronic databases and supply of documents identified as relevant to your needs. An estimate of cost will be provided to you before any search is undertaken or documents obtained.
