Overview

The Project Management Fundamentals short course is designed to teach participants the language, terminology, structures, and tools that are the hallmarks of modern project management.

You will learn the basics of the project life cycle: scoping and planning the project; delivery and monitoring; and finally, wrapping up and evaluating the project. 

This course gives you a solid, fundamental knowledge of how to lead projects that deliver.

Who should attend

This is an introductory project management course for people who don’t have any formal project management training. You might manage small projects as a part of your role or wish to learn more about how projects work.

  • Understand the core principles of project management
  • Outline what is needed to competently manage a project in detail
  • Understand the different project methodologies and when each may be applicable
