Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade provides industry-recognised skills for work in the engineering and fabrication trade.
Skills development is undertaken through an Australian Apprenticeship with on and off-the-job training as specified in the Contract of Training between the employer and apprentice.
The skills gained from this qualification apply to a wide range of fabrication work, including undertaking metal fabrication, structural steel erection, sheet metal work and welding.

Course description
The qualification has been specifically developed to meet the needs of apprentices in the metal fabrication trade. The qualification packaging has been designed so that competency will be developed through an integrated combination of on and off-the-job learning strategies through a formal apprenticeship.
