Dr Paul Rodan
Graduated with BA (Hons), UWA (1974); MA, UQ (1978); PhD, Monash (1991). Career included positions at University of Queensland, La Trobe University, Caulfield/Chisholm Institute of Technology, Monash University, Victoria University and Central Queensland University. Have worked in both academic and administrative roles and in later years was heavily involved in aspects of international education. Currently a research associate with the Brisbane-based T J Ryan Foundation, on the editorial board of the journal Australian Universities' Review and a regular contributor to Swinburne's Inside Story. Also serve on the governing board of Ozford Institute of Higher Education in Melbourne.
Research interests have been in Australian politics with particular interest in leadership, political parties and elections. Current focus is on Australian political history, especially in the second half of the twentieth century.
