Biography

David Mesa completed a PhD in Design at Swinburne University of Technology. He is a product design engineer with extensive experience in innovation and new product development projects. As a designer, he has helped manufacturing companies solve their problems through design. David currently teaches innovation and prototyping, and his research explores the process of identifying applications for new scientific discoveries and transforming those ideas into products that can reach the market. He has also conducted research related to i4.0, implementing systems to capture and visualise manufacturing data in real-time to improve processes and predict production issues.
