Dr Alireza Moayedikia completed his PhD at Deakin University in October 2018. In his PhD he looked at applications of machine learning and optimisation techniques to enhance the business outcome of crowdsourcing platforms. His research specifically has been focused on solutions that can enhance task assignment and answer aggregation on micro-task crowdsourcing to finally improve the accuracy and lower the cost. His PhD research outcomes are published in well-known Q1 journals such as Applied Soft Computing and Engineering Applications of AI. Before the start of his PhD, he published some paper in the area of feature selection with operations research. Currently he is researching in the area of text analytics, crowdsourcing and feature selection.
