5-star ratings for Swinburne in Good Universities Guide 2024

Swinburne’s talented educators have soared to new heights in the Good Universities Guide 2024, claiming 5-star ratings in multiple categories, including rating number one in Victoria and number three in Australia for Student to Teacher Ratio.
Undergraduates surveyed reported satisfaction with their Overall Experience and Student Support. The results represent new 5-star ratings for Swinburne in these categories.
Postgraduate students rated Teaching Quality highly, maintaining Swinburne’s 5-star rating in this category from the previous year.
High ratings across multiple study areas
Swinburne subjects have also taken several first-place rankings in Australia.
Our postgraduate courses in Creative Arts rated first in Australia for Teaching Quality, and Science and Mathematics rated first in Australia for Overall Educational Experience.
Our undergraduate Business courses achieved 5-star ratings for full-time employment, placing us first in Victoria, as well as for Overall Educational Experience.
Also highly rated were our Education courses, which secured 5-star ratings for Student Support (first in Australia), Overall Educational Experience (second in Australia) and Teaching Quality (second in Australia) among undergraduates.
The university also achieved a new five-star rating for Overall Experience in our postgraduate Rehabilitation courses.
Professor Tara Magdalinski, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education and Quality), says that the continued improvement of Swinburne’s results indicates a positive evaluation of Swinburne’s efforts in transformative learning and support of the student body.
“Swinburne is delighted to receive such positive responses from our students, reflecting our innovative education model that addresses the skills of the future.” Professor Magdalinski said.
“The exemplary results across fields like Science and Mathematics, Education and Business reaffirms the quality of education and support that our students receive. We are proud to have retained our five-star rating for Student to Teacher ratio, as it affirms the personalised education experience we offer to students.”
This year’s Good Universities Guide ratings are collated by the Good Education Group, who provide information relating to careers and high-quality education to guide students studying in Australia to reach their goals.
