Study tours

Looking to go overseas with like-minded students over the summer and winter semester break? Our study tours give you the opportunity to learn about industries in other countries and make a difference to the communities you visit. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain 12.5 (one full unit) of academic credit.

The duration of our study tours vary but are generally around two weeks. Search our study tours for further details such as cost, eligibility and dates.

Overseas internships 

Want to gain valuable industry experience that will help you stand out from other graduates? Our overseas internships are short-term, unpaid positions at an organisation in an area specific to your studies.

We’ll help arrange your visa, accommodation and social activities — all you have to do is decide which bag to pack. 

The duration of our overseas internships vary but typically range from six to eight weeks. Search overseas internships for further details such as cost, eligibility and dates.

If you’re enrolled at one of our partner universities, please talk to the international office at your home university about coming to Swinburne as an exchange student.

If you’re thinking of coming to Swinburne on a study abroad program (i.e. fee-paying program), you will need to talk to your home university, but you may also obtain more information from one of our in-country representatives.

As well as our student exchange opportunities for individuals, we can arrange a special study tour for a group of students from your institution.
