Your hours might be all over the place, but our academic support services can work with that.

We get that you lead a busy life and that your study support needs to be there when you are.

We also know that things are a bit crazy right now and that you might not have been planning on moving all your studies online. That’s why we’ve partnered with Studiosity to give you 24/7 academic support in addition to our existing Learning and Academic Skills (LAS) Centre who have also moved online.

Night owl and early risers? We’ve got you covered. Left it ‘til the last minute (again)? We’ve got your back too (Hint: just do yourself a favour and don’t make a habit out of it!).

So, how does it work?

There are a range of different supports you can access, from ‘connect live’ where you get a real-time, one-on-one virtual session with a degree qualified study coach, through to assignment feedback (including spelling, grammar, structure and more) delivered back to your inbox. Ok, maybe not quite that fast – but you’ll definitely have feedback within 24 hours.

Who am I getting advice from?

People who know their stuff. Studiosity is a third-party provider with trained as study coaches on hand from the world over. Study coaches are degree-qualified at a minimum and work across a range of disciplines. They also provide general study skills support, including referencing and assignment research. Think of them as a sage older brother or sister with a few more years’ academic experience on you.

Plus, our Learning and Academic Skills Centre are working closely with the Studiosity team to ensure a complimentary approach.

If you’re a student studying in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (FSET) units, you can get assistance from the Mathematics and Statistics Help (MASH) Centre

How do I access it?

All you need to do is login to any of your Canvas units and look for Studiosity on the left-hand side. On your first sign-in, you have to create a user profile and PIN.

Can I start using it right now?

Yep, go for it!
