Keynote Speaker: Mr William (Bill) Scales, AO

Tom Spurling Oration: COVID-19: Inconvenient Economic and Political Truths: Can Australia create a lasting and positive legacy from COVID-19?

COVID-19 has disclosed some important fault lines in Australia’s economy and system of government. While we can’t with any certainty predict the long term effects of the pandemic, we can with greater certainty now understand what it has disclosed, and what we might do about it. Bill Scales will draw on his experiences in business, government and the not-for-profit sector to discuss some of the issues disclosed for Australia by COVID-19.
