Rental Assistance Scholarships 2011

Equity and Disability Support Service are awarding 50 rental assistance scholarships to domestic undergraduate Higher Education students from low socio-economic backgrounds or experiencing significant financial disadvantage. The aim of the scholarships are to assist students with paying rent/board.

The scholarships are to the value of $2,000 for those students enrolled from Semester 1.

Students enrolling in Semester 2 will be entitled to $1,000.

Government strengthens support to regional students

Rural and regional students can now apply for additional assistance to attend university under the $20 million Rural Tertiary Hardship Fund, Minister for Tertiary Education, Senator Chris Evans said today (Media Release: 22 February 2011). For more information click here.
