Clubs and societies are a great way to meet new friends, connect with like-minded people and experience university life.
Cultural and social clubs are located on all campuses. They cover every social, religious, sporting, political and cultural interest you can think of, so there's bound to be something for you. If not, you can always start your own!

Immerse yourself in a wealth of social and cultural events and activities, held year-round on all campuses. Join in with free barbecues, lunchtime concerts, balls and parties.
There are also events organised specifically for international students, to get you exploring beautiful Melbourne and Victoria, and making connections on campus.
Sport and recreation
You can keep fit at while studying at the Hawthorn campus. Gym facilities and personal training, at student-friendly rates, are available at the nearby Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre. There are sports and fitness clubs and massage services, for a great release from study.
Inspiring learning spaces
The George Swinburne Building at the Hawthorn campus houses student study areas, a games room, and student employment and health services. It's a great place to catch up on your studies or meet friends between classes.
There are also state-of-the-art labs and facilities at the $140 million Advanced Technologies Centre. The newly opened $100 million five-star Advanced Manufacturing and Design Centre, as certified by the Green Building Council of Australia, allows students to work collaboratively and learn in an environmentally friendly space.
At Wantirna, the National Centre for Sustainability building will transform the way you learn. Plus, the Croydon campus boasts an innovative Flexible Green Trades Complex for builders, plumbers and other construction apprentices.
Libraries, labs and wi-fi
Gain access to an extensive collection of resource material at any of our campus libraries. The Late Lab, at the Hawthorn campus library, offers the convenience of 24-hour, seven-day access. You can also use our many computer labs to assist you in completing your assignments, or access wi-fi around campus.
