Higher Education Studies in the VCE

Higher Education Studies in the VCE gives high-achieving secondary school students the chance to study first-year university units while completing Year 12. You'll receive credit for the units you’ve studied towards a relevant bachelor degree at Swinburne.

Higher Education Studies is recognised by the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre and calculates an ATAR aggregate as the equivalent to a fifth or sixth VCE Unit 3 and 4 sequence. A graded increment of 5, 4.5, 4, 3.5, or 3 points will be included in the ATAR aggregate according to level of achievement.
