Associate Professor Britt Klein

Britt is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences at Swinburne University. Since 1998 Britt has been developing and evaluating internet-based clinical assessment systems and singular and transdiagnostic treatment programs for anxiety, mood, and addictive/eating disorders; as well as physical and mental health preventative and wellbeing programs. Britt is the Co-Editor of the e-Journal of Applied Psychology (e-JAP), sits on a variety of e-Intervention advisory groups, board of management and conference organising committees and also teaches and supervisors numerous post-graduate students in the e-intervention field.

Associate Professor David Austin

David is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences at Swinburne University. David’s research work relates to investigations of cognitive models of anxiety disorders, psychometric evaluations of psychological assessments, and on the efficacy of internet-based treatments for mental health disorders. David is also the Co-Editor of the e-Journal of Applied Psychology (e-JAP)

David Shields

David is a multimedia developer and project manager with extensive experience in both the small business and higher education sectors. David has taught in the Swinburne undergraduate and postgraduate multimedia programs and within the University has delivered innovative web applications to enhance both learning outcomes and management processes.

Jo AbbottAnxiety Online Coordinator

Dr Jo Abbott

Jo is a registered psychologist and research fellow for the National eTherapy Centre and eTherapy Unit at Swinburne University. Jo has a doctorate in health psychology and has been the project manager on a number of internet-based research studies concerning enhancing resilience and wellbeing, and treating posttraumatic stress and tinnitus distress. Jo has been extensively involved in developing the NeTC's programs for anxiety treatment. She coordinates the development of programs for treating depression, bulimia, gambling and insomnia and she is involved with the development of wellbeing programs.

Lisa CiechomskiNeTC Administration Coordinator

Dr Lisa Ciechomski

Lisa is a registered psychologist and research fellow for the National eTherapy Centre. Lisa has worked on a range of research projects, including internet-based studies such as Panic Online, and is involved with the Anxiety Online programs, as well as the development of internet-based programs for depression and youth with diabetes type 1. Lisa has experience in teaching and counselling. She is interested in mental health prevention, treatment and mindfulness and is completing a Diploma of yoga studies.

Danielle GraberResearch Assistant

Danielle Graber

Danielle's previous research has been in psychopharmacology trials and her clinical masters project is comparing online treatment of social anxiety disorder with face-to-face versions. She has clinical experience in adolescent case management, telephone counselling and acute mental health and undergraduate degrees in medical science and psychology. Danielle is currently co-ordinating a NHMRC funded study into an online treatment to reduce depressive symptoms and alcohol use - www.ontrack.org.au

Eric OMultimedia Developer

Eric(Seung-Chul). O

Eric is a multimedia developer with an impressive track record of commercial projects. He has led technical development in projects ranging from e-commerce sites to integrated online business management packages. Eric also teaches web development in Swinburne's multimedia programs and supervises postgraduate multimedia students undertaking their final projects.

Kerrie Shandley

Kerrie is a registered psychologist and research assistant for the e-Therapy Unit. Kerrie has worked on a number of internet-based research studies such as Self-Guided Panic Online, CVD & Depression portal and Stress & Anxiety portal. She recently completed a Master of (Health) Psychology at Swinburne conducting an evaluation of the Victorian Gambler’s Helpline as her thesis topic.

Having studied at Swinburne University and Jönköping International Business School in Sweden, Krystina is spending a year at the National eTherapy Centre gaining experience in the Multimedia industry. Krystina's background is in design and interactive websites.
