Parents Research

Current surveys

Parent Perception Survey

We are currently investigating how parents "see" their children and whether this is influenced by a number of factors including birth order and feelings about relationships.

Touch Screen use for children aged 2- 12 years, including children who have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

We are currently investigating children's use of touch screen technology and we are interested in how often children use touch screen devices and for what purposes, e.g. for learning activities or games. We are also interested in whether there are any differences in touch screen use with children who have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder and whether touch screen technology is used as a platform for delivering therapy programs via applications (apps).

We are interested in hearing parents' views on their child's use of touch screen technology and would appreciate your time in taking this short survey. The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking your time to help us with this research.

Children's media use

The recent boom in mobile devices has changed how people, including children and families, spend their time across media platforms. We are seeking parents with at least one child 8 years old or younger to participate in a survey. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.
