Quicksearch will often retrieve a large number of hits. If you need to conduct a more sophisticated search, try searching one or more of the individual databases listed below :

  • Art Full Text references and full text articles from journal articles, yearbooks and museum bulletins. Its focus is on painting, sculpture, drawing and architecture - the "fine arts".

  • Design and Applied Arts Index An international index to current design and applied artts journals. Covers well the areas of industrial design, graphic design, typography and packaging.
  • Design Special Collection is an index to a special collection of magazines and books housed at the Prahran Campus, consisting of mainly historical material covering the first half of the twentieth century. Many architectural and interior design journals are included in the index.
  • Standards Online A full set of Australian standards
  • Material Connexion Knowledge base for information about new and innovative materials intended for design development: product, packaging, architectural, interior, apparel and more.
  • IP Australia - the agency that grants rights in patents, trade marks, and designs.
