  • Ebscohost A platform for more than 40 databases, use this link to search across all of them or to select individual, or groups of, relevant databases such as:
    • Film & television literature index with full text Full text database. Subject coverage: film and television theory, preservation and restoration, writing, film production, cinematography, critical analysis of cinema and television. Includes film and television reviews and popular film and television magazines.
    • Communication & Mass Media Complete on Ebscohost Indexes articles in communication and mass media including film and television. Full text available from selected journals.

  • Academic Search Complete on Ebscohost A multidisciplinary database covering a range of subject areas including film and television studies. Provides full text for more than 5000 journals, both scholarly and popular.
  • ProQuest Central This resource includes citations and full text articles in academic & professional disciplines, e.g., business, social sciences, health, literature, film, political science; as well as news and general interest items. Search multiple databases simultaneously or select individually.
  • Scopus One of the world's largest abstract and indexing databases.
  • Web of Science Provides access to current and retrospective multidisciplinary information from approximately 8,700 of the most prestigious, high impact research journals in the world.

Online Videos

  • Australasian Video Online Australian documentary and educational videos covering a range of topics including media studies, writing and more.
  • EduTV on Informit Provides television documentaries and series as streamed video. Covering a range of educational programs from free-to-air stations and some pay TV channels, including BBC Knowledge and Discovery.
  • TVNews on Informit Provides online access to news, current affairs and selected documentary programs that have been broadcast on Australian television such as Four Corners, Catalyst and Cutting Edge.
