Professor Shirley Leitch is an advocate for high quality online learning and higher education within Australia's university sector. She is the founding chair of Swinburne's partnership company with SEEK, Swinburne Online. In 2011, she was named one of Australia's most influential social media voices in higher education by British newspaper The Guardian.
Professor Leitch is a professor of communications and an active blogger. Her Higher Ground blog features regular posts about issues relating to higher education.
