Welcome to the Centre for Quantum and Optical Science

CQOS (formerly the Centre for Atom Optics and Ultrafast Spectroscopy) was established at Swinburne as a new strategic initiative in 1999. The Centre is part of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology.  The CQOS labs, together with those of the Centre for Micro-Photonics (CMP) make up the Swinburne Optics and Laser Laboratories (SOLL)
