Industrial Design
Swinburne's Industrial Design students learn to develop and prepare products for manufacture. In creating product concepts for the future they consider product appeal, human usage and behaviour, materials and manufacturing techniques, and environmental sustainability and design ethics. Their portfolios are a sample of some of their projects ? in electronic and consumer products, toys and games design, furniture, transport, sporting equipment, and more.
