Hosting a Professional Year Internship
Could you use the skills of an IT or accounting graduate? Swinburne College is looking for companies and organisations interested in hosting 12-week internship placements for international graduates.
Internships are a great opportunity for graduates to gain valuable experience in the workplace. There are also many benefits for hosts, including:
- Fresh and enthusiastic graduates
Our interns are graduates with a bachelor or master degree in accounting or IT. Their skills are up-to-date and they’re genuinely motivated to apply their skills in a real-life setting.
- Geared towards industry needs
Both programs have been developed with peak industry bodies, so you can be sure that the program is geared towards industry needs.
- Staff development
Hosting an intern can be a great opportunity for your staff to take on a mentoring role and gain valuable supervisory / managerial skills.
- No cost or financial obligation
Internships are unpaid and there is no cost to your organisation.
