Myer Foundation Internship: Applications Now Open

Swinburne’s Asia Pacific Centre for Social Investment and Philanthropy (APCSIP) is delighted to announce that applications for the prestigious Myer Foundation Internship are now open. This six month paid internship is offered to students enrolled in the Master in Social Investment and Philanthropy. One student will be successful after a competitive selection process.
The internship commences in July 2012 and will be based at the Myer Foundation office in central Melbourne.
The internship provides opportunity for a student to gain direct experience in the operations of this leading family philanthropic foundation. Students who have completed (or nearly completed) their Masters studies are eligible.
The Myer Foundation has been a leader in Australian philanthropy since its inception in 1956. It was the first foundation in Australia to have a paid executive officer. The Myer Foundation continues its commitment to professionalism with this offering.
The internship aims to increase knowledge and practical understanding of philanthropy, through the provision of hands-on experience, supervision and mentoring.
