What it takes to be a successful entrepreneur

Swinburne alumnus and owner of Broadband Solutions, Sam Bashiry, will be presenting at Swinburne’s ‘Learning from Entrepreneurs’ event.

Bashiry draws on life experiences and career successes to inspire others to achieve their business and personal goals.

Connecting Victorian businesses to Central and Eastern Europe

The Central European Business Forum, hosted by Swinburne and the Hungarian Consulate Melbourne, aims to connect small and medium Victorian businesses to markets and opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe.

Dr Aron Perenyi, lecturer at Swinburne Business School, will facilitate the event.

The forum will include a keynote speech from Mr Kevin Magee, Assistant Secretary of the Southern and Eastern Europe branch at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Sessions will include 10-minute one-on-one business discussions with country specialists, expert talks moderated by Professor Bruce Wilson (RMIT EU Centre) and networking opportunities.
