In August 2016, Australians will have the opportunity to hear from a man who has helped change the world.

The innovative and inspiring force that is Steve “The Woz” Wozniak is set to tour Australia, and Swinburne is proud to be the major sponsor. 

Among the many accomplishments for which Steve Wozniak is renowned, two stand out above the rest: inventor of the personal computer and, along with Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple. 

He is also a well-renowned philanthropist, a motivational speaker and, importantly, a strong champion for STEM education (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

An Evening with Steve Wozniak will see The Woz speak on the wonders of innovation and invention, the importance of digital rights for humanity, and the art of a pleasure-driven work ethic.

The event will consist of a conversation with an influential Australian as well as an opening act, as well as an opportunity for meet and greet ticket holders to meet Woz and get their books signed.

The tour of Australia and New Zealand is managed by Think Inc., the team behind the Australian tour of Dr Brian Greene, hosted by Swinburne’s Dr Alan Duffy.
