In this unit, students will perform ICT research in non-academic contexts such as legal, government, commercial and software production environments.

Learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Select appropriate technologies and sources of information to evaluate solutions in the context of a capstone project
- Plan, design and develop a research project outcome in a project team environment that demonstrates scholarship in one of the fields of information and Communication Technologies
- Reflect on the challenges of performing scholarly and applied research
- Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of ethical and professional behaviours in an organisational context
- Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between theory studied in this unit and previous units of study and its practical application in a real life organisational setting
