Ms Kirsten Mander

Kirsten is an experienced non-executive director, with a broad background in business, law and strategy. Her experience stretches at senior levels across a range of different sectors, including health, resources, manufacturing, utilities and financial services, both within Australia and internationally.
Kirsten is a director on a number of boards. She is currently Chair of the Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Authority, Deputy Chair of the International Women’s Development Agency and a director of RT Health Ltd and the Australian Centre for Health Research.
Previous boards on which she has served include MEGT Australia Limited (a vocational education and training provider), the Law Institute of Victoria and the Women’s Circus.
Kirsten also has had extensive experience for over 20 years as a senior executive, general counsel and company secretary of a number of Australia’s top companies.
She was General Counsel of Australian Unity Limited, Sigma Pharmaceuticals Limited, TRUenergy Limited and Smorgon Steel Group Limited and Senior Legal Manager of WMC Resources Limited. During this time she worked throughout Australia, Asia and the former Soviet Union.
Kirsten holds a Masters of Laws from Melbourne University. She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and a fellow of the Risk Management Institute of Australia.
