Jennifer Ryan – Program Manager, Graduate Certificate of Business (HRM)
Jennifer is the Program Manager for the Graduate Certificate of Commerce (Human Resource Management).
She has spent the last 15 years working in communications, marketing and advertising across Melbourne, Hong Kong and New York. She joined the Swinburne team in 2007 and manages both the online and on campus programs.
Rose Leithead – Course Administrator
Rose has worked at Swinburne for a number of years. She now looks after the requirements for all of the graduate programs offered by the School of Business.
Rose is your first-stop for any administrative issues you may have.
Joanne Fenton – Performance and Reward Management (on campus & online)
Joanne is an Executive Coach and Organisational Psychologist.
She has worked as a Senior Manager in both the private and public environments providing strategic advice, human resource planning and organisational consultancy services to corporate management teams.
Joanne’s strengths lie in her ability to facilitate improved performance of individuals and organisations.
Leo Ryan – Employee Relations (on campus & online)
Leo has been practicing as a Human Resource Consultant for approximately 20 years.
During that time, he has worked closely with both large and small organisations assisting them in the understanding, development and value of the human factor in their industries.
Richard Ballantyne – Human Resource Development
Richard specialises in teaching strategic human resource management and human resource development.
He is also the Program Director for the Masters of Business Management in Human Resource Management.
Richard is also interested in research. His PhD focuses on the interrelationship between Higher Education and TAFE.
Beverley Ballantyne – Recruitment & Selection (on campus & online)
Beverly is a self employed consultant working as a sessional lecturer at Swinburne.
She has worked across the health sector as a recruitment and selection consultant, training and development facilitator and strategic human resource consultant.
Beverly uses her practical expertise as a foundation for her lecturing and subject development.
John Annakis – Employee Relations
John is a Lecturer of human resource management and organisational studies at Swinburne. He specialises in industrial relations and strategic human resource management.
John has been working at Swinburne as a full-time faculty member for the past 13 years and has held various roles including Deputy Head of Group and Director of Manufacturing Management.
His ongoing research examines determinants of job satisfaction, work-life balance and flexibility, employer monitoring and work quality characteristics.
