Bronte Neyland

Bronte is an experienced higher education executive with a strong strategic and goal-oriented approach. As Pro Vice-Chancellor, Future Students at Swinburne University of Technology, Bronte leads and executes Swinburne’s domestic and international student recruitment strategies, having oversight of the student recruitment and admissions functions of Swinburne. Partnering with stakeholders to facilitate the identification and realisation of growth opportunities has been a central focus of Bronte’s recent roles and is a particular focus of her role at Swinburne.

Prior to joining Swinburne, Bronte was Vice-President, Future Students and Marketing at Victoria University in Melbourne where she led the University’s brand and marketing, communications, web services, and student recruitment (domestic and international) functions. Prior to working in the tertiary education sector in Australia, Bronte worked for local government in Japan.

With more than twenty years in the Australian education sector, predominantly in the international student sector, Bronte’s expertise is regularly sought for industry workshops and seminars. Bronte has held a number of non-executive director positions across the education sector, including Chair of the Australian Universities International Directors’ Forum (AUIDF).
