Description
In accordance with the Privacy Policy, Swinburne can confirm personal and subject/course details only to yourself, appropriate staff members and authorised external agencies such as Centrelink. Another person may act on your behalf, but only if you provide them with written permission to do so. If you require proof of your enrolment for Youth Allowance/AUSTUDY or for any other reason, you may request a status letter.
If you are enquiring in person, about your address, enrolment, or subject details, you must present your student ID card for identification. If your are enquiring over the telephone, an ID check will be conducted.
Changing my Personal or Academic Details
Current and former students may maintain the following personal and contact details using SwinLink - Swinburne's Online Student Administration service:
- Addresses - postal and permanent home residence
- Telephone contact numbers
- E-mail address
- Emergency contact details
- Employer details
Personal and academic enrolment details may also be amended by filling out the appropriate hardcopy form, for example, Amendment to Personal Details, Amendment to Enrolment, Course Withdrawal or Leave of Absence forms.
Hard copy forms must be lodged with your Faculty/School Office.
If you require a statement of results, you may apply for a Results Transcript or Academic Transcript.
