This unit aims to provide students with a transformative experience that will develop a broad range of employability skills and attributes. It will expand student’s knowledge of global industry and community contexts to enhance professional capacities and potential for employment. It will develop skills to critically analyse global experiences that inform professional purpose within a course of study.

Learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  • Work collaboratively to research, analyse, and compile cohesive information about one or more study tour destinations prior to departure
  • Communicate the findings of research in effective visual and oral forms
  • Identify and demonstrate professional practices relevant to your discipline and study tour
  • Critically analyse your immersive experiences to identify key learnings that may change your personal or professional practice and link employability skills and theoretical knowledge

Hurdle

As the minimum requirements of assessment to pass a unit and meet all ULOs to a minimum standard, an undergraduate student must have achieved:
