Indigenous Travel Bursary
This scholarship provides a one-off $500 payment to an Indigenous student undertaking a VET or undergraduate course for use towards one of the following:
- a professional development opportunity
- conference costs
- travel to a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placement

Courses eligible
Any Vocational Education and Training (VET) or undergradute course offered by Swinburne University of Technology.
Eligibility / selection criteria
To be eligible for the Indigenous Travel Bursary, applicants must:
- Meet the following criteria:
- Australian citizen
- be an Indigenous Australian or Torres Strait Islander
- Meet the following criteria:
- be a Swinburne student in 2022
- enrolled in an eligible course (see courses eligible in section above)
- Submit a personal statement (250 words) outlining:
- how you plan to use the funds
- how this scholarship will benefit you
Value
This scholarship is valued at $500 (one-off payment).
How to apply
Applicants should complete an online application form and submit with all supporting documentation by 31 August 2022. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
