Work Safely at Heights

Description

This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to work safely on construction sites where the work activity involves working above 1.5 metres from ground level and where fall protection measures are required.

This course is the industry standard for training in working safely at heights and provides the required training for the national unit of competency: CPCCCM2010B. This course also includes the required prerequisite unit CPCCOHS2001A.

The knowledge required for this unit includes construction terminology, job safety analysis (JSA) and safe work method statements, material safety data sheets (MSDS), quality requirements, types, characteristics, uses and limitation of plant, tools and equipment and workplace and equipment safety requirements.
