We understand that a well-managed criminal justice system is crucial to maintaining a safe society. That’s why we offer justice courses at Swinburne.
Justice courses are an opportunity to explore the legal, ethical, social, psychology and cultural issues that shape and influence the justice sector. You’ll learn from experienced justice professionals and gain access to a range of mock and real-life crime scenarios, from attending crime scenes to undertaking crime scene investigation activities such as evaluating, processing and presenting evidence in a Moot Court setting. You’ll also have the chance to gain valuable experience in a justice workplace through a work placement.
By the time you graduate, you’ll have the confidence and skills to put your knowledge into practice. Future careers can be found in policing, customs, prison settings, local and county courts, local government, intelligence roles, and other legal settings.
