Horticulture and Landscape
Bringing out nature’s beauty begins by cultivating skills.
We believe cultivation and design can bring out the best of the earth’s landscape. That’s why we offer horticulture and landscape courses at Swinburne.
Horticulture and landscape courses are an opportunity to begin or advance your career in nursery, landscape, parks and gardens, turf, arboriculture or floriculture industries: It’s just a matter of choosing the course that suits the future you can picture. No matter which direction you choose, we provide the professional knowledge and technical skills you need for a career in horticulture and landscape.
By the time you graduate, you’ll have the confidence and skills to apply your knowledge to the workplace. Future careers can be found in landscaping and horticulture environments, and more.
Swinburne graduate Chris Henbery has been named Victorian Apprentice of the Year at the 2015 Victorian Training Awards.
Chris completed a Certificate III in Horticulture (Retail Nursery) and undertook his apprenticeship at Braeside's Gardenworld.
