Prerequisites

Admission into BA-SCRPRD - Bachelor of Screen Production
AND

Aims and objectives

This unit consolidates relevant theory and technical skills in relation to production and post-production theories. Working in groups, students will apply production and post-production processes to produce a fully resolved screen-based media project.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Produce a screen-based media project that utilises relevant theory and digital production phases.
2. Evaluate screen-based media workflows, organisational tools and project management strategies in relation to the production of a major media project.
3. Produce media content that demonstrates professional competencies, and an enhanced knowledge of screen-based media production techniques and strategies.
4. Apply research strategies and reflective practice techniques to guide the development of a screen-based media project.
