Aims and objectives
This unit will enable students to develop their research skills. Students will be involved in undertaking research design, planning, data collection and analysis as part of their Professional Placement. They will be required to produce a written report and present their findings.

- Demonstrate research implementation skills, including data collection and data management.
- Analyse data using appropriate quantitative and qualitative analytical methods and interpret the findings.
- Reflect on research implementation limitations and respond and adapt appropriately to optimise data quality.
- Present research data in varied media formats to optimise research data dissemination.
- Demonstrate research collaboration skills.
