Aims and objectives

Performance project focuses on student led performances. Students experience the full creative and technical process from inception to completion. They are required to liaise with the lighting, sound, set and costume designers as well as collaborate effectively with directors, choreographers and other professional staff. In this unit students will critically reflect on their own practice, creative process and artistic choices.


Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Write a technical plan for an ensemble show.
2. Write a critical reflection of the performance process and performance.
3. Demonstrate innovative circus dance and performance practices.
4. Develop a series of acts for a collaborative collective performance.
5. Communicate production design to technical and creative staff.
