Courses with unit

Offered Semester 1 2022 and Semester 2 2022
This core unit will enable you to gain study credit whilst simultaneously enhancing and extending your understanding of the changing nature of knowledge and knowledge construction for learning and teaching in Higher Education. The unit will support your critical evaluation and reflection of pedagogical learning and teaching approaches, models and frameworks and their application to your current practice.

You will also explore how to plan for and develop effective learning environments and improve student learning and teaching practices. You will be exposed to a range of resource materials and online learning activities designed to extend your understanding of learning and teaching and to support you with assessments.

The unit will enable you to critically reflect on your own teaching practice within a supportive, collaborative online learning environment and provide the opportunity to apply these new learnings in your future teaching. You will be engaged in active, collaborative learning and feedback - sharing and building knowledge together.
