Overview

NEXT Innovation Accelerator offers a fast-paced, innovative, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience for students to work with industry advisors to develop, research and pitch innovative entrepreneurial and start-up ventures. Students will work in diverse teams with the support of industry stakeholders and subject matter experts using the Lean LaunchPad methodology to identify unique value propositions, propose novel solutions and develop a viable business model for implementation. This innovation process and challenge will act as the catalyst for development of skills in teamwork, communication, critical thinking, intercultural working and leadership; attributes required to work in a globalised knowledge economy.

Learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  • Create innovative solutions to business challenges using innovation methods
