Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Evaluate the qualities of a good leader, and how to manage people and teams.
2. Examine the legal and professional requirements for setting up a private practice/business in their profession and
develop a business case and marketing plan.
3. Explain the scope of practise, duty of care, relevant policies/guidelines and accreditation/registration requirements of their profession.
4. Critically appraise various forms of entrepreneurship and its application in Australian and Global contexts.
5. Explore characteristics, mindset and skills of entrepreneurs while demonstrating ethical conduct, and self-reflect
on how this can be applied in their own situation.
