BCA20010 Ensemble and Intermediate Studies in Circus Arts 1

Aims and objectives

Students are expected to reflect on recent performances of their ensemble before an audience. They are required to develop new sequences and routines at the intermediate level that demonstrate flexibility, progression and an ability to solve problems. Students work toward a balance of technical proficiency and new ideas in their work.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Develop and present new ensemble sequences and routines safely demonstrating specified skills.
2. Apply intermediate level technical skills.
3. Articulate the creative component of their selected ensemble act.
4. Appraise group act and development process.
