BCA20011 Ensemble And Intermediate Studies In Circus Skills 2

Aims and objectives

This unit is the last in a sequence that focus on the circus ensemble. Students are required to perform their act before an audience. They are expected to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be able to perform in a variety of contexts. They also study and apply advanced training methodologies and injury management skills to support their particular specialisations.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Perform an ensemble routine at advanced level before an audience.
2. Apply advanced training methodologies and skills to support their particular specialisations.
3. Understand and apply injury management techniques to training.
4. Develop the creative component of their selected ensemble act.
5. Critically evaluate ensemble and development process.
