1. Critically review directions of digital technologies in current and future learning environments.
2. Analyse and evaluate learning technologies for the achievement of appropriate pedagogical outcomes.
3. Design, develop, implement and evaluate learning experiences that utilise appropriate and relevant digital technologies.
4. Evidence individual and collaborative learning through a learning and teaching portfolio.

This elective unit explores current digital learning technologies with the focus on how you can best utilise technology to achieve your learning and teaching aims and outcomes. It will be practical and hands on with the opportunity to “play” with the technologies and to develop resources for your own learning and teaching practice.
This unit will expose you to a diverse range of digital learning technologies that can be used in a digital learning environment for both your on campus and online students, with the focus remaining on the pedagogical purpose for utilising technology to enhance your learning and teaching.
The unit encourages a highly collaborative learning environment to enable participants to learn from each other as well as from the current research by experts in digital learning environments.
