Aims and objectives

This unit teaches students to define effective leadership and practices; recognise situations where individual or collective leadership is needed; reflect on your leadership practice to identify your strengths and the potential challenges that you will face as a leader; demonstrate how to use leadership theory in real-world practice. This unit is offered and delivered by Northeastern University.
 
 
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
 
1. Apply coherent and advance knowledge regarding effective leadership and practices.
2. Critically analyse situations where individual or collective leadership is needed.
3. Reflect on and take responsibility for their own learning and leadership practice to identify your strengths and the potential challenges that you will face as a leader.
4. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct and awareness of professional practice and how to use leadership theory in real-world practice.
