Aims and objectives

This unit of study aims to cover the skills and knowledge required to develop and demonstrate the integration of a cyber physical system into an Industry 4.0 ecosystem. It also aims to consolidate and apply the guidelines for aspects of Industry 4.0.


Unit Learning Outcomes (ULO)

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

1. Research, analyse and determine a problem through a systems thinking approach
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the feasibility of the proposed solution in consultation with key stakeholders 
3. Plan and document the project workflow for the solution
4. Undertake, monitor and report on the implementation of the cyber-physical system
5. Analyse, and critically evaluate the performance of the system and the impact to the client
6. Evaluate the quality of project work undertaken by the team and the contributions of team members
