Aims and objectives

This unit aims to equip students with an understanding of how to evaluate, reflect on and plan for their learning and career development needs within changing contexts. Students will engage with industry, peers and teaching staff to develop and build their career confidence and connections for career and learning success.
 
Unit Learning Outcomes (ULO)
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

1. Create and develop productive relationships to strengthen study and career outcomes
2. Identify and clarify learning and career goals
3. Use reflective learning techniques that support learning and career development confidence
4. Recognise the diversity of contemporary workplaces and some of the predicted trends for the future 
5. Employ pro-active planning capabilities to meet career and professional development needs
