Aims and objectives

This unit aims to develop advanced competence in listening, speaking, reading and writing in
Italian through a variety of learning activities. This unit will also critically analyse the different aspects of the Italian language in literature, culture, art, film, music and theatre related texts.
 
 
1. Translate and master the language used in texts with advanced level Italian;
2. Critically analyse the different aspects of the Italian language in literature, culture, art, film, music and theatre related texts;
3. Orally present in Italian, demonstrating an intermediate level of language fluency;
4. Formulate and articulate an opinion in Italian on the issues discussed or the texts read in class;
5. Demonstrate an ability to think cross-culturally, ethically and in a multidisciplinary fashion.
