Aims and objectives

This unit of study aims to integrate traditional and digital animation production techniques, to produce an advanced two-dimensional animated outcome. Students will identify and apply industry best practice to inform project development.
 
After successfully completing this unit, students should be able to:
1. Apply development and pre-visualisation techniques to construct a proof of concept and project pipeline
2. Design and construct aspects of a two-dimensional animated outcome, integrating specialist knowledge and techniques
3. Evaluate production work flows and the application of tools, techniques and principles in an animated sequence
4. Author a fully resolved animated production applying professional competencies in the field of two-dimensional animation, design and storytelling.
