Train the Trainer
Do you want to become a workplace trainer or improve your skills in this area? This short course will enhance the skills of workplace trainers to plan, design, develop and deliver group training sessions, which are tailored to meet the needs of the identified learner group. Integrated into this, is a coaching component, exploring practical approaches for training smaller groups and individuals.
This course works through each stage of the design process. It encourages the Trainer to tune in to the needs of their learners, in order to develop and deliver sessions that are both practical and effective. It also focuses on the Trainer themselves, to assist in the development of their own approach, to ensure interesting and engaging learning experiences.
As well as group delivery, there is a coaching component, which explores various approaches to individual and small group development. This practical component will assist in refining coaching skills using 'Best Practice' models. Presentation skills are essential when working in the Training environment. This course will provide an opportunity to refine these, through a range of techniques, as well as build Trainer awareness for achieving greater communication and audience engagement.
